Led by Samantha Hillerby for L’Oreal Professionnel, hair was prepped, tonged, raked with fingers and piled high on the top of the head to create a voluminous messy-up do.
For the make-up, MAC make-up artists Val Garland created a very tonal look of dusty earthy tones mixed with caramels and burnt yellows. However these were just the beginning of the beauty look. Extending the look beyond the face each girl was tattooed-up on hands, arms, neck and feet with symbols of the alchemists. Applied in random formation, each model’s design was individual bar the inclusion of the iconic Westwood orb on all.
Together, the hair and make-up created an eye catching look that might just see us reaching for the paints and body painting brushes in our make-up kits J
